The Island County market showed gains in this week's report, as the number of home sales climbed 4.6%, pushing the total to 160 homes sold over the last 30 days. Within the same time period, King County had 3,068 sales, the most of all counties in the area. The median sales price rose to $309,500 over the latest reporting period for Island County, up from $294,500. Along with the increase in sales, the fact that there are a lower-than-normal three months of inventory indicates that Island County is a seller's market.
